Emptiness

I have not had the best of the day today but I must acknowledge that this day I have been able to see and live without any major disaster. The day to me is just about sadness for no real reason behind it because I prefer to live by the book which is not the case most of the times and thats cause a big disappointment.

Well, what made me feel okay is the article I recently read on"Perspective" written by John Miller which was about family experience and how crucial Perspective becomes in making us feel "Happy or Sad". John shared his real life experience. One of the usual days he was simply enjoying a movie time with his wife when he received a call about his granddaughter birth and her crucial condition. The next few days were days of utmost sadness because it was a matter of life and death of a newborn who was expected to bring just happiness in the family. A week of tensions and fears ultimately ended with the hope of a revival. That particular incident changed the perspective of the entire family. How? This way - The next day John had a power cut in his neighbourhood and on enquiry he found out that the customer service rep was clueless about it. Unlike before where John could have just blasted the rep for not having any information and being useless he decided to have another take. He simply said - No Big Deal, Its a beautiful day! Guess he acknowledged that there had been no matter of life and death that day and it can be survived and enjoyed like any other day.

I will, likewise, be happy knowing about my family and other close ones are doing fine today without any loss.

Ganesha !!! Om Namay Shivaye!!!

Once a Day We all should thank god for another beautiful day !!!!It happens we happen do take everythg in life for granted...And..we dont realise what importance a single breath holds in one's life....
