This post is just a little update on how I am doing with my Fitness Challenge of 60 days. I am glad (not happy or proud as yet...long way to go) to say that I am going strong. Though the body is victimised with cramps but it feels great to be able to step in there.
My usual workout ways have been in the form of Running, Bikram Yoga (specifically mention Bikram Yoga as I am not in for it otherwise, ), Dancing, Swimming (more of a relaxing activity for me) and Badminton. Trying Gym after ages and I must say, it is my latest love. Always thought of Gym as not my cup of tea but may be I got bored doing the rest repeatedly every year. I will continue to do this for these 2 months accompanied by Badminton which is more of a social play.
Workout - This week I got on to do DanceWorX, CXWorX and Body Attack classes and I thoroughly enjoyed jumping all around burning calories. I must say that my BodyAttack instructor is wow...smashing hit so happy to go again and again. CXworX is just half and hour class but aggressive one that make us do postures which we would not do on our own. So anyone out there looking for fitness class should try these. Yesterday was the day to run on treadmill for an hour with a break in between of course. I do not sweat easily (unless I do Bikram Yoga) so my goal is to run till I sweat. Next week, I will be looking to try few more new fitness classes available at the Gym.
It is convenient and a good thing to have a Gym at a running distance from your home so taking it into consideration I should enjoy the maximum benefit out of it.
For now, I have motivated myself to be in gym for 4 or 5 days in a week and doing those specific classes alternate days, else I know, I 'll get bore sooner than expected. Hope I dance to the same tunes coming weeks too.

I must confess tanvi, the one thing that stuck in my head from meeting you was your association with Badminton, don’t know why, a mention of your name always made me think of the sport. You seem to be leading a very disciplined life well done. It is also nice to see that you added social causes to your motivation that I guess marks the sensitive and socially conscious person you are.
Exercise is fun, I started exercising years ago when things first started falling apart in my life exercise was a great motivator and I do indulge in it, not as much as I would like to though.
“Food is the most primitive form of comfort” - Sheila Graham, that sounds so true.
Eating, spicy snacks, reminds me good old days, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi, the wonderful stuff, ahhhhh and your post now makes me think of chicken biriyani meal too. Well eating is not all that bad and looks like you are working out pretty hard, guess you can treat yourself to your form of indulgence, looks like it is chocolates.
By the way you seem a very motivated person I am sure you will have a wonderful time working out and in the process you are doing an excellent job of contributing to good causes. Congratulations.
Hey Swaroop, you know what, I actually don't remember we having a conversation over Badminton though you gave me nice compliment. I like it when people associate me with Badminton. It has been my sport since the age of 7. I like hustle bustle so thats how I would like to live my life. If you are from Hyderabad, you must be knowing Paradise Biryani. My favourite.
Thanks for all kind words and it helps me to see the brighter side of life in some way.
