Are you going away?
Are your surfing....fishing?
So where is the party tonight?
Barbecue time?
Can you imagine how serious this question stands for us? For me, quite a bit. I find myself at peace if there is nothing majorly happening around me which I won't miss to be a part of. I would certainly like to be part of that DJ Hip Hop Night or may be VIP Shopping Night. Else, I really have to list down the Weekend activites.
Another weekend thing I love to do is hosting dinners for friends and family. Absolutely love welcoming people to my place and getting a chance to pamper and entertain them with my decent cooking skills or just a chance of chilling with my girlfriends watching few episodes of Sex and The City (have the whole series of it and that of Bewitched too).
There was a time when weekend strictly meant to sit down with the family, watch TV and have meals together. With change in lifestyle, the whole concept has not just changed but it has also been given utmost importance, pretty much equal to our weekdays schedule; what we call "Work Life Balance". Don't know how much balance we have managed to create for ourselves? Even gym and the Recreation centres lose business on the weekends. Find them empty on Friday and Saturday nights which is generally packed up during weekdays.
The whole concept differs for singles, couples and families.
There have been weekends where I would have wanted to be relaxing on my couch and read but then one call from a long lost friend for a catch up or a movie ( I am a BIG Movie Freak) and here, the weekend gone for a toss that I kept for reading and writing. Sometimes I feel, I have to keep my social ties far away to be able to focus on what I really want to do.
Good news is Sunday still has been kept exclusively for completing household chores and early dinner to start off the coming week with a calm mind.
Recent studies stated that " Monday Blues are just a myth". Mind you, do not give the reason "Monday" for your less productive day.

For me Tuesday is the day to crib. Absolutely nothing to look forward to. We have already started with the week but haven't even touched mid-way and that makes me drag. For now, its Friday today......
So.......
